Pop star Pixie Lott went "back to her roots" with a visit to the town she grew up in as part of her new album launch.
Lott - who moved to Brentwood when she was 13 - paid a visit to St Martin's School and Hey Joe Music Store in Brentwood to celebrate the launch of her new album Encino.
Inspired by the sounds of the 70s and crafted in Los Angeles, it is Lott's fourth studio album.
Lott said: "I’m so excited as I’ve worked on this album for five years.
"I’m so happy to have moved back to my roots with this album and it was an honour to perform to my local community."
Pupils from the school in Hanging Hill Lane got an exclusive performance from the singer-songwriter, as well as the chance to ask questions about her life in entertainment.
Many were inspired by seeing "someone from the local area who found so much success in the entertainment industry".
Elvienne Squire, a year 13 drama and music pupil, said: "It was an honour to be part of such a personal experience and hear first-hand Pixie’s story and advice on making the journey into the industry."
St Martin’s School is also where the winner of series one of The Voice Kids, Jess Folley, attended - who Lott got the chance to mentor as part of the show.

Executive headteacher Jamie Foster said it was "fitting" to welcome Lott into the school "where it all began" for Jess.
Mr Foster told the Recorder: "Our performing arts department is truly outstanding and to have a chart-topping artist such as Pixie perform to our pupils was truly inspirational."
Jennifer Page, head of year 12 and 13, added: "It was wonderful to organise an event that gave so many pupils an experience of seeing a pop star in a live concert, who many may never have the opportunity to do so.
"Having many ex-students currently working in the industry we hope that these events inspire our future generation of artists."
Lott's Brentwood visit also took her to the Hey Joe record store in Ropers Yard, for a performance and signing.
The independent music shop called the visit "pretty special".
A spokesperson for Hey Joe said: "As an independent, we’re always promoting how important it is to support small local businesses, so it means a lot when someone as well known as Pixie, with a huge fanbase and millions of followers, makes the decision to support an indie like us."
