The Carshalton Park Fireworks event has been cancelled for 2024 due to “slow ticket sales”.
The Round Table Carshalton Fireworks, which has been running since the 1950s, was cancelled this year because of “insufficient support”.
Carshalton Park Fireworks attempted to replace it, hoping to bring the annual fireworks back to Carshalton.
Local mum Lucy Jones partnered with FeastyFest and was hoping to put on an event on Saturday, November 9.
However, Carshalton Park Fireworks has now announced that the event has been cancelled.
The decision was announced on Tuesday (October 1) and came after FeastFest pulled out of the event, and it is too short notice to find an event to replace them.
Anybody who bought a ticket will be fully refunded.
A spokesperson for Carshalton Park Fireworks said: “It is with great sadness the fireworks will not proceed this year.
“FeastyFest have pulled out and it is too short notice to find an event team to replace them.
“Also, ticket sales have been too slow to cover costs.
“We will do our best to plan something for next year.
“All tickets will be fully refunded including booking fee - you will be emailed.”
The Round Table Carshalton Fireworks will not be taking place this November due to “insufficient support” amongst other factors.
