Some Southern trains running through Croydon will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains from October 7 through to October 11.

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

October 7 to October 10 (Monday to Thursday):

Engineering work is taking place between East Croydon and Oxted, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

From 11.50pm until the end of service each night, buses will replace trains between East Croydon and Oxted.

October 11 (Friday):

Engineering work is taking place between Redhill and Tonbridge, closing all lines on Friday evening.

The 10.01pm train from Redhill to Tonbridge will leave at 9.58pm instead, and will run to London Victoria.

After 10.30pm, replacement buses will run between Redhill and Tonbridge.

Southern Railway has warned all passengers that replacement buses may be busier than usual, and to allow extra time for their journeys.
