A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash in Hornchurch.
The incident happened in Airfield Way just before 2.30pm today (October 8).
A paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and an air ambulance from London Ambulance Service attended.
The man was found injured and rushed to a London major trauma centre by road.
His condition is currently unknown.
Airfield Way is closed both ways between Northolt Way and Pembrey Way as the incident is dealt with.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.31pm today (Tuesday 8 October) to reports of a road traffic collision in Airfield Way, Hornchurch.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived in one minute.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene, before he was taken to a London major trauma centre by road, as a priority.”
