The television presenter best known as Judge Rinder visited Stamford Hill ahead of Rosh Hashanah.
Rob Rinder, who starred as the eponymous judge on ITV, took part in a round table discussion with Charedi orthodox community leaders on September 29.
His appearance in Stamford Hill came just days before Jewish New Year, which was celebrated last week.
The visit was organised by the local Jewish Community Council as part of its ‘Get to Know Us’ initiative.
This aims to highlight the contributions of the Charedi community in Hackney.
As part of his visit, Rinder toured several community organisations, including neighbourhood watch group Shomrim.
Levi Schapiro, founder of the JCC, said: "This initiative was developed to provide a platform where influential individuals from various sectors can engage directly with the Charedi community.
“Our goal is to reduce misconceptions and promote a greater understanding of who we are and how we contribute to society."
