A biker is set to appear in court accused of killing an 87-year-old man in a crash.
Pedestrian Kunwar Singh died at the scene of the crash on Croydon Road, Keston, on April 18 last year.
On Wednesday (October 9) Daniel Redpath, 24, of Sumner Close in Orpington, is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.
Redpath is charges with causing Mr Singh’s death by dangerous driving.
He is said to have been driving an Aprilia motorbike and is also accused of not having a valid licence to drive the motorbike.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash at 2.57pm.
Police, an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager were at the scene, as well as London’s Air Ambulance.
However, Mr Singh was pronounced dead at the scene.
