A man has been charged with causing the death of a five-year-old boy by careless or inconsiderate driving.
On the afternoon of November 25, 2022, police were called to Newcomen Street in Borough to reports of a crash.
They found two children, aged five and 12, injured and both were rushed to hospital.
The five-year-old boy died a short time later while the 12-year-old boy was later discharged.
Almost two years on Ashenafei Demissie, 51, of Newcomen Street in Borough, has been charged with causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
He is also charged with causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving, relating to the 12-year-old.
Demissie will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (October 9).
