Bexley Council is asking locals for their thoughts on what the priorities for the borough’s development right up to 2050.

The survey aims to shape a 2050 vision for Bexley and is available on a new website, Ask Bexley, which will host public consultations and polls from now on.

Cllr David Leaf emphasised the importance of local input to make the borough a better place now and in the future.

Residents are asked to visit Ask Bexley to take part in the survey and future consultations.

This survey aims to gather insights to guide future planning and decision-making.

The council hopes to hear from those who live, work, or study in Bexley, and asks them to contribute their ideas and experiences through the new portal.

The poll closes on November 30.

Cllr David Leaf, the Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Resources said: “We know that residents are proud of Bexley and have great ideas and experiences that will help make Bexley even better.

“We want to harness those voices to improve Bexley now and in planning for the future. This is why our first survey using Ask Bexley is geared towards shaping a 2050 vision for the borough.

“I would strongly encourage everyone who lives, works or studies in Bexley to sign up to Ask Bexley, take part in our 2050 Vision survey and get involved with any future polls or consultations shared through the website.”
