Hampstead actor Benedict Cumberbatch will join music star FKA Twigs for a special fundraiser at KOKO in Camden Town.
The Sherlock and Marvel star recently joined the venue's KOKO Foundation as a global ambassador, focusing on the environment and sustainable projects.
Olivia Colman, Dua Lipa, and Stormzy are also ambassadors of the charity, which launched in 2022 with music, the environment and community at its heart.
Cumberbatch and FKA Twigs will be giving readings on November 7th at 'A Night At The Theatre,' - a special edition of the long-running series Letters Live.
Over the years it has welcomed famous figures to the stage to read historical, emotive, poignant, personal or comical letters.
The star-studded evening will see special guests join the duo on stage to perform, with several high profile musicians and actors to be announced soon.
FKA Twigs is currently receiving critical acclaim for singles from her highly anticipated new album ‘Eusexua’ - out in January.
One strand of the KOKO Foundation celebrates Camden's rich cultural heritage by nurturing the music film and theatre stars of the future with workshops, bursaries and artistic programmes creating opportunities for disadvantaged creatives.
Another has teamed up with Camden Think and Do to fund 'Beeline Boxes' on one Camden estate, and plant trees and fruit orchards on several estates and schools across the borough.
The Foundation says as an ambassador, Benedict Cumberbatch will focus on the environment in his neighbourhood of Camden and "amplify our efforts to ensure a greener and more sustainable city, while drawing a focus on environmental projects that can transform communities".
The actor said: “I am honoured to be a KOKO Foundation Ambassador with a special focus on the environment.
"It’s been so inspiring to witness first-hand, the amazing impact that the Foundation has quietly had over the past few years, making real and lasting change in Camden.
"I’m excited, inspired and committed to help bring awareness to the special work being done and continue to help improve the local area and scale the foundation’s work around the country, and the world."
