Two men have been arrested with one left with injuries after an assault in Sydenham.
It happened on Sydenham Road yesterday evening (October 11) at around 8:12pm.
One man was found with facial injuries and was arrested by police on suspicion of affray.
A second man was also arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Police have confirmed that enquiries remain ongoing at this time.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 20:21hrs on Friday, 12 October to reports of an assault in Sydenham Road SE26.
“One man was found with facial injuries.
“He was arrested on suspicion of affray.
“Another man was arrested on suspicion of GBH.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
