Man arrested on suspicion of murder after fatal shooting in Tottenham street.
It comes after police were called to the incident in Waltheof Gardens at 9am this morning (October 15).
A man was found injured with a gunshot wound and died at the scene.
A 56-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
According to a Met spokesperson, the incident is believed to be isolated and there is no risk to the wider public.
They continue in their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Det Chf Insp Linda Bradley said: “We are yet to formally identify the victim of this tragic incident.
"We will continue to carry out efforts to ensure his family are informed and supported by specialist officers.
"A post-mortem examination will also be scheduled in due course."
