Some South Western trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to maintenance work.
The work will affect trains on Saturday (October 19) and Sunday (October 20).
We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.
October 19 (Saturday):
Some lines in the Queenstown Road area will be closed all day due to maintenance work.
Queenstown Road station will be closed all day.
Due to the diverted services, some services via Wimbledon will be revised.
London Waterloo to Reading services will start from Clapham Junction.
London Waterloo to Windsor services will start from Clapham Junction.
London Waterloo to Weybridge via Staines services will start from Clapham Junction.
London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Richmond and Kingston services will start from Clapham Junction.
London Waterloo to Alton and London Waterloo to Basingstoke stopping services will be revised and will run combined to Woking where the train will divide.
October 19 (Saturday):
London Waterloo to Weymouth services will terminate at Southampton Airport Parkway.
Some services will call additionally at Shawford and Eastleigh.
Winchester to Southampton Central stopping services will not run.
Southampton Central to Bournemouth stopping services will not run.
A revised service will run between Brockenhurst, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth.
Southampton Central to Portsmouth stopping services will start from St Denys.
Salisbury to Romsey via Southampton services will run between Salisbury and Romsey only.
Passengers for Chandler’s Ford should travel on the diverted Great Western Railway services.
October 19 to October 20 (Saturday and Sunday):
The lines between Guildford and Petersfield will be closed all weekend due to maintenance work.
London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford services will terminate at Guildford.
Buses will run between Guildford and Petersfield via Haslemere.
A revised service will run between Petersfield and Portsmouth.
October 20 (Sunday):
London Waterloo to Reading services will be revised and will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham.
These services will call additionally at Wimbledon, Kingston and Strawberry Hill.
London Waterloo to Windsor services will be revised.
An hourly service will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham via Kingston calling at all stations.
An hourly service will start from Richmond calling at all stations.
London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Richmond and Kingston services will be revised and will only run between Richmond and Kingston.
Buses will run between Clapham Junction and Twickenham via Richmond.
These buses will not call at St Margarets.
London Waterloo to Woking via Staines services will be revised and will start from Kew Bridge.
The afternoon and evening London Waterloo to Kingston via Hounslow services will not run.
Buses will run between Clapham Junction and Kew Bridge.
London Waterloo to Guildford via Woking stopping services will be revised.
Guildford to London Waterloo via Epsom services will be revised.
London Waterloo/Wimbledon to Guildford via Cobham services will start from Surbiton.
