Some residents in Lewisham are experiencing no water or low water pressure, according to Thames Water.
The SE26 postcode covers parts of Sydenham, Perry Vale, Kirkdale, and Lower Sydenham in the London Borough of Lewisham.
The issue is due to a burst pipe on Springfield Road, SE26, which Thames Water engineers have been working to repair.
While a temporary fix was made last night to restore water to residents, the repair became complicated due to other utilities located near the damaged section.
Engineers are on site this morning to replace the damaged part of the pipe with a new one.
Thames Water has apologised for the disruption and is encouraging residents who may need extra assistance during future outages to consider joining their Priority Services Register.
This service provides additional support for customers who may be vulnerable or in need during water supply issues.
Thames Water thanked residents for their patience as they continue to work on restoring full water supply to the affected areas.
