A popular Epsom pub is set to reopen with a new look and menu after an extensive refurbishment.

The Derby Arms in Epsom Downs has undergone a significant investment which has given the popular eating and drinking spot a new look and an “ultra-stylish” feel.

The pub will open on November 1.

The menu features a variety of pub classics with a modern twist, as well as new flavours inspired by the seasons, and the best that the countryside has to offer.

The menu also has an assortment of seasonal specials which change daily.

Paired with an extensive wine list and hand-crafted cocktails, a visit to The Derby Arms promises to be an “exciting social dining and drinking experience”.

The change has been led by head chef Harry Mardell who has been with The Derby Arms for over a year.

A range of small plates has been designed for sharing. Some dishes which will be on offer include pan-fried wild scallops, whipped goats cheese with beetroot and pear, and chipotle sticky chicken.

The Derby Arms is located opposite the world-famous Epsom Downs Racecourse and is a hotspot for visitors of Epsom’s nearby popular attractions.

On reopening, the “all new” Derby Arms in Epsom has promised to provide a premium feel after undergoing its refurbishment.

The new décor has been inspired by horse racing and jersey fashion, giving a nod to the racecourse next door.

Striped wallpaper has been placed throughout the pub with feature artwork appreciating horseracing.

The remodel extends to the bar area which has undergone a transformation that includes ceiling paper, completed by seating surrounding the fireplace.

All of this has been added to expand the pub's social space, without compromising on its original charm and character.

The dining space offers a setting for private dining experiences, and features globe lighting and a floor to ceiling bookcase with high back fluted seating.
