A child has been taken to hospital in an unknown condition following a crash in Rainham.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at 12.25pm today (October 27) with reports of a crash on Upminster Road North.
The incident occurred near the junction with New Road.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene where the child, who was a passenger in a car, was found injured.

A Met Police spokesperson has advised the child's condition is unknown at this time.
A road closure is in place at the location of the crash whilst enquiries into the circumstances continue.
The London Ambulance Service has been contacted for a comment.
