Plans to bring new facilities to a care home in Collier Row are among planning applications received by Havering Council this week.
A total of 27 planning proposals were submitted to the council between October 15 and October 21.
Of these, we have shone a spotlight on the most interesting applications to have featured on the weekly list.
Decisions have not yet been made on the future of the applications.
A care home in Collier Row could see three new outbuildings erected on its grounds.
Plans have been put forward seeking permission to have a training room, laundry room and store room built at Lodge Care Home retirement village.
The care home facility is believed to support up to 94 individuals (P1268.24).
A former police station could undergo some drastic changes as the council is considering a proposal to turn it into a pizza restaurant and takeaway.
The ex-police station in Harold Hill could have a new shopfront and signage put in, with outside seating for customers.
The grounds are currently unused, with only a flat above the premises which would remain unaffected by the application (P1217.24).
In Hornchurch, an existing home could be replaced with a new, three-storey home in Ardleigh Green Road.
A planning application submitted to the council is seeking approval to demolish the existing structure to make way for the new home with associated off-road parking (P1374.24).
