A woman who drunkenly crashed a stolen Tesla into the front of a house has appeared in court.
On September 30 a blue Tesla ploughed into a home on Verdant Lane, Catford, causing extensive damage.
Venisha Charlemagne, 37, of Forest Hill, was charged with drink driving, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving.
She gave a breathalyser reading of 77 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres, more than double the 35 microgram legal limit.
Charlemagne pleaded guilty to the offences at a Bromley Magistrates’ Court hearing on October 2.
On Wednesday (October 30) she appeared at Woolwich Crown Court for sentencing.
However, the case was adjourned as the prosecuting barrister was unavailable due to illness.
Campaign group Safer Sandhurst and Sangley said the September 30 crash was the third crash in the area within the same amount of days.
Two cars were crashed into local shops in separate incidents in the days before.
