The Dartford Crossing will be closed throughout the evening after a “serious” motorcycle crash.
Closures remain southbound from J1B Princes Road Interchange at Dartford today (October 30), causing delays of up to two hours.
Kent Police were called to the clockwise carriageway to a “serious collision” at 2.23pm.
Earlier today the National Highways said that the closure was likely to last until the evening, but it now warns the road will be closed southbound throughout the evening.
There's an hour delay anti-clockwise and two hours clockwise approaching the crossing.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service are at the scene where both carriageways are currently closed.
"The air ambulance is also in attendance and motorists should plan their journeys accordingly."
At the time of reporting, there is no indication of any injuries.
