Carnaby Street is set to unveil a new design-led Christmas light installation named Into the Light for 2024.
The new display will feature six-metre sculptural light forms and thousands of energy-efficient LEDs casting a 'golden glow' over Carnaby Street.
The lights will be switched on from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, November 7.
The launch event promises a blend of festive shopping and dining experiences, with exclusive discounts from over 50 brands, including Aesop, House of Astrid & Miyu, PANGAIA, and Size?.
Visitors can expect star-shaped installations at each entrance, creating a welcoming gateway into the festive atmosphere.
The unveiling of the Into the Light installation will be celebrated with exclusive experiences and discounts available only during this special launch event.
Every 30 minutes throughout the evening, the light shows will be accompanied by live Christmas choirs.
A pop-up bar will also provide on-street drinks.
Brands across Carnaby Street and Soho will offer exclusive offers.
Festive in-store events are also planned, with brands like Aesop and Sculpted By Aimee providing complimentary treatments, in-store drinks, and special treats.
G-SHOCK Radio will broadcast live from the G-SHOCK store.
Visitors can also expect festive food and drink specials at Soho’s diverse restaurants.
Highlights include a complimentary chai at Dishoom, 20 per cent off select dishes at Miznon, and a mulled wine slushie on the house with any pasta order at Pastaio when you mention Christmas at Carnaby.
The Ganton Arms will provide a seasonal pie paired with 2-for-1 cocktails from 4pm to 7pm, while Shoryu will offer 20 per cent off selected ramen dishes.
The Christmas lighting will extend into Kingly Court, adorned with light curtains, creating a festive setting to enjoy offerings from Darjeeling Express, La Maritxu, Imad’s Syrian Kitchen, Goldies, Donia, and more.
Carnaby Street's musical community will add to the festive atmosphere, with extended DJ nights every Thursday from 6pm to 10pm at INKO NITO, and live music at Nightjar and Ain't Nothing But.
Following the launch, the area will host weekly festive shopping nights every Wednesday, named Soho Nights.
