This is the shocking moment a car bursts into flames with thick black smoke also billowing from the vehicle.
The fire broke out in High Street near Old Road, Crayford just before 1.15pm today (November 1).
A video, shared on a public Facebook group, shows the car covered flames, as smoke billowed into the air.
Shocked onlookers can be seen in the video as they watch the incident unfold.
Road closures were put in place as the blaze was dealt with, however, all closures have since been lifted.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service for further information.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: ““Firefighters responded to reports of a car alight on High Street, Crayford.
"Control Officers mobilised one fire engine from Plumstead to the scene at 1318 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1355."
