A man has been left with potentially life changing injuries after a stabbing on Halloween in Leytonstone.
The incident happened in High Road near Trinity Close at around 7pm on October 31.
Officers and paramedics attended and a man was taken to hospital where his condition was initially unknown.
Police have now confirmed that his injuries have been assessed as non-life threatening but are potentially life changing.
No arrests have been made by police at this stage.
The investigation is ongoing.
A crime scene was in place on High Road but has since been removed.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police: “At 6.56pm on Thursday 31 October, officers were called to a report of a stabbing on the High Road, Leytonstone.
“Officers attended the scene, alongside the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
“The injuries to a man aged in his 20s was confirmed at the hospital as non-life threatening but potentially life changing.
“The crime scene that was in place, has since been removed.
“The investigation is ongoing and police have not made any arrests to date.”
