Teachers are getting ready to bring the joy of music to youngsters in Queen’s Hospital's children’s ward.
Staff from Focus Music School in Collier Row are visiting on December 10 to spread Christmas cheer while handing out gifts and getting the young patients involved in a music session.
They will perform Christmas and other songs while handing out gifts and toys donated from businesses in the Romford and Hornchurch areas, as well as donations from well-wishers for the young patients and their families.
Focus Music is a not-for-profit enterprise that is appealing for donations to its Go FundMe online page for new musical instruments or toys which will be given to the hospital to help make the children’s stay a little better.
Contributions can be dropped off at The Forest Row Centre in Lodge Lane, Collier Row, until December 8.
Well-wishers can email Chris Hatwell or Liam Hughes at info@focus-music.co.uk or donate direct online to gofund.me/982e50df.
