A catering business in Chadwell Heath has been named a finalist in a national curry awards.
Pride Of Asia, in High Road, is one of the finalists for the Asian Curry Awards 2024 - chosen from a shortlist of more than 200 restaurants and takeaways.
It made it to the final shortlist after a public vote, and will now be reviewed by judges from the Asian Catering Federation.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and presentation on November 17 in Mayfair.

Pride Of Asia manager Wazid Hassan said that over the three decades he has run the catering business, he has seen "so much respect in the local community" - and now being recognised in the awards feels "very good".
He told this paper: "As a longstanding part of London's curry industry, we take pride in being able to make a positive impact on the community in ways big and small.
"Being part of the Asian Curry Awards is a tremendous honour for us, and we are excited for what the future holds for us."
Pride Of Asia specialises in events, catering for Asian weddings and special occasions with tailored Pakistani, Bengali and Indian menus and wedding packages.

Founded in 1995, the company started off as a restaurant in Mile End Road, and now employs professional event planners to help celebrations of all sizes run smoothly - aside from just the food.
According to its website, it is the largest halal caterer in the UK.

Chairman of the Asian Catering Federation, Yawar Khan, said: "We’re delighted by the number of people who have taken the time to vote for their favourite restaurant this year.
"The standard of finalists is exceptional and we also have some excellent newcomers on the list which is great news for the industry as it continues to flourish in today’s challenging economic climate."
