A fire broke out today at a takeaway restaurant in Croydon causing five people to evacuate.
The blaze took place at Addington Road in Selsdon on November 5.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were sent to tackle the fire, which affected part of the ground floor and ducting in the building's extraction system.
The fire began just before noon, with the first call to the London Fire Brigade coming in at 11.52am.
Fire crews from Addington, Purley, Norbury, and Sidcup stations arrived promptly, ensuring the fire was brought under control by 1.15pm.
Five individuals evacuated the premises before firefighters arrived.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
