A man in his 50s has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a bus in Tottenham
The incident happened at the junction of Philip Lane and High Road just before 8.15pm yesterday (November 5).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was initially unknown.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police has now confirmed his condition was assessed as non-life threatening.
Road closures were temporarily put in place to manage the scene but have since been lifted.
Police enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 20.13hrs on Tuesday, 5 November to reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian at a junction of Philip Lane and High Road, Tottenham.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and HEMS Doctor attended.
“A man in his 50s was taken to north London hospital who condition was assessed as non life-changing and non life-threatening injuries.
“Road closures were in place but have now been lifted.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
