Almost 20 new homes could replace offices along a high street in Plaistow.
A proposal put forward by Finsbury Properties Investments Ltd is seeking permission to transform the site located at 735 - 737 Barking Road.
The three-storey building could be split into 16 new homes, spanning a total of 13,670 sq ft.
According to documents accompanying the application, the offices are currently empty.
The planned redevelopment of the site includes provisions for the creation of 27 cycle spaces and two disabled parking spaces.
If approved by Newham Council works would get underway in August 2025, with a forecast completion date in March 2026.
The project would produce a number of different housing options available to rent.

Five of the proposed 16 homes would be one-bedroom studio apartments.
There would also be five one-bed flats created, and five flats with two-bedrooms built.
A single three-bed flat is also included in the plans.
