Some Southern trains running through Croydon will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains from November 9 and November 10.

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

 

Saturday and Sunday (November 9 and November 10):

Engineering work is taking place between London Bridge, New Cross Gate, East Croydon, Crystal Palace, and West Croydon, closing some lines.

On Saturday and Sunday, no trains will run between London Bridge and East Croydon or Crystal Palace via Sydenham.

Trains between London Bridge and Caterham will run to an amended timetable and divert via Peckham Rye.

Trains between London Victoria and London Bridge will run between London Victoria and Crystal Palace only.

On Saturday, trains between East Croydon and Watford Junction will run between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction only.

Replacement bus services will operate between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace.

All day on Saturday and Sunday, buses will also replace trains between Southampton Central and Havant.

Services running between Southampton Central and Brighton will be diverted to run between Portsmouth Harbour and Brighton, calling additionally at Fratton.

 

Sunday (November 10):

Engineering work is taking place between West Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom Downs and Epsom, closing some lines.

All day on Sunday, no trains will run between West Croydon / Mitcham Junction and Epsom Downs via Sutton and between Streatham and Epsom via Sutton.

Buses will replace these services throughout.
