The owner of a pie and mash store in Eltham that was burgled says it has made her "not want to have a business anymore".
Michelle Jones was forced to call the police at 7.40am on November 8 after discovering her store, Raymonds Pie and Mash in Passey Place, had been broken into.
The incident was captured on CCTV footage from inside the restaurant, showing two figures making their way through the store at around 4am that morning.
Michelle told the News Shopper: "We've come in this morning and the door's smashed in.
"At about 4am, two guys were outside trying to smash the glass and we can see them.
"(They've) actually got it smashed in and the glass is still attached.
"He's put himself through it, come in, gone through all my tills and everything. Took the tip box and other things - he took another jar that was on the side and then just run back out again.
"He was probably in here for about five minutes at the most."
The five-minute theft left the bottom panel in the glass door to the restaurant badly damaged, and is expected to cost Michelle around £600 to replace.
The pair are said to have only made off with approximately £20 in cash.
In Michelle's 35-years of experience at the store she has experienced one other incident like it, that left her tills "smashed".
She said: "We had to open late (today) but I've just put a board over the glass at the moment.
"They (customers) are saying it's freezing in here. Customers are just saying that it is disgusting in Eltham now, that everything's changing.
"It makes you not want a business anymore to tell you the truth with all that's going on in Eltham, the way things are.
"It's horrible because it's your property. You feel like you want to be there to stop it."
The Metropolitan Police has advised they are yet to make any arrests in connection with the burglary.
A spokesperson said: "Police were called at approximately 07:40hrs on Friday, 8 November to reports of a burglary at a shop in Passey Place, SE9.
"Damage was caused to the shop front and it was reported a quantity of cash was taken.
