A man who was arrested after a fatal crash in Chingford has been bailed by police.
Police were called to Chingford Mount Road at 2.16pm on Thursday (November 7), to reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, said to be a woman in her 60s, died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.
A man was arrested in connection with the crash, but police have now confirmed that he has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The victim’s identity has not been revealed at this time. Police enquires into the crash remain ongoing.
