A new international supermarket could soon open in Rainham.

The plan is one of various applications received by Havering Council between October 29 and November 4.

All of the planning applications will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.

There are plans to convert an existing warehouse in New Road, Rainham, into an international supermarket called Asko (P1267.24).

In Lowen Road, one applicant has asked to increase an HMO from four bedrooms to nine bedrooms (P1396.24) following rear extensions to the property.

An applicant has also asked to retrospectively change the use of a house to an HMO in Gelsthorpe Road, Romford (P1360.24).

A home in Yelverton Close could be turned into two flats under one proposal submitted to Havering Council (P1282.24).

In Lancing Road, a new end-of-terrace two bedroom house could be built after the demolition of an existing garage (P1364.24).

A six bedroom house in Queens Park Road could be split into two three bedroom homes (P1394.24).

The Parish Church of St Alban Protomartyr in Kings Road has asked for permission to replace the existing church and memorial garden gates with new gates designed by an artist (P1342.24).

One applicant is looking to convert storage space above Robins Pie and Mash in South Street into two new flats (P1420.24).
