A restaurant located inside an annexe of a town hall in East Ham could be redeveloped into new homes.
Newham Council-owned housing company Populo Living has applied to bring three new flats to the ground floor of the Town Hall Annexe in Barking Road.
The site occupies a corner plot on the main road and the corner of Wellington Road.
The proposal follows the company's development of The Didsbury, which comprises of 37 new-build apartments inside the original 1939 Town Hall Annexe.

If the new application is approved by the council, an existing restaurant and resident's lounge could be removed.
The amenities would be replaced with the three-bed apartments, which are estimated to span 63.3 square metres per home.
According to documents accompanying Populo Living's application, work would get underway in January 2025 and complete by April 2025 if approved.
