Newham held multiple services to commemorate Remembrance.
The main Remembrance Sunday service took place on November 10 at East Ham Cenotaph in Central Park.
Members of the Royal British Legion paraded from Newham Town Hall before the service, which involved a two-minute silence and the laying of wreaths.
Newham mayor Rokhsana Fiaz was in attendance and she posted on X: "Remembrance Sunday in solemn tribute to honour those from our country and Commonwealth who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
"Never again is our commitment and that also requires courage for peace."
Services were also held at West Ham Parish Church in Church Street, St Luke's war memorial in Tarling Road, Canning Town and St Mark's war memorial in Factory Road, Silvertown.
The latter took place in the grounds of Brick Lane Music Hall.
Armistice Day saw another service held at East Ham Cenotaph. This was aimed at young people, with children from several Newham schools taking part.
At the end of the service, as in previous years, local historian Lee J Skeggs gave a talk to the young people in attendance.
