Residents across Tower Hamlets marked Remembrance Sunday at a series of ceremonies.
The events took place on Sunday, November 10, to honour the service and sacrifice of the armed forces, their families, as well as to remember those who lost their lives due to conflict or terrorism.
Commemorations were held at St John on Bethnal Green church followed by a wreath laying in Bethnal Green Gardens.
St. George-in-the-East church and The Merchant Navy Memorial also hosted events.
Christ Church Isle of Dogs, which has one of the recognised First World War memorials in Tower Hamlets, held a service, an act of remembrance and wreath-laying.
St. Anne’s Church in Limehouse also hosted commemorations, as did St Luke's Millwall and the war memorial in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park.
