A family-run pizza restaurant in Elm Park has won a Good Food Award for the sixth year running.
The Fat Pizza in Elm Parade, has been named as a Gold Seal Good Food Award Winner in the takeaways category for 2024/25.
The Gold Seal not only recognises a restaurant's food quality, service and value, but also highlights that the business has achieved "consistently high" customer ratings and votes over three years.
The Fat Pizza is the only Good Food Award winner in Havering for 2024/25, across all six categories.
Husband and wife duo Ripu and Sunny Chhina, owners of The Fat Pizza, told the Recorder they are "always proud" to be recognised for what they do in the area.

They said: "We are proud to have won this Good Food Award for the last six years consecutively.
"We are a local family-run pizza store.
"Havering is our heart and soul and even our children form an integral part of running our store."
Amongst the takeaway's offerings are a Paneer Masala, doner kebab, and bacon and egg - nicknamed The Fat Breakfast Pizza.
It also sells healthier options, with some pizzas starting at 500 calories, and has recently expanded its menu to include protein power bowls and "hearty" salads.
The Fat Pizza staff also make the dough themselves, instead of using pre-prepared dough balls or frozen bases, something mentioned on the Good Food Award website.
