A fifth person has been charged with murder after a tourist was stabbed to death in a suspected botched robbery as he left a nightclub.
Antonios Antoniadis, 26, was allegedly followed and then attacked in New Cross on July 7.
Police were called to Florence Terrace at around 9.20am to where Antonios had been assaulted and stabbed.
Antonios died after spending two weeks in specialist intensive care.
A fifth person – 17-year-old male – has now been charged over Antonios’ murder.
The teen, who cannot be named due to his age, appeared at Bromley Crown Court on Wednesday (November 12).
He was remanded in youth detention accommodation ahead of a hearing at the Old Bailey.
Four others had already been charged with Antonios’ murder.
Shian Johnson, 25, of Argyle Walk in Camden, was arrested on July 28 and charged the following day.
Joshua McCorquodale, 21, of Upper Park Road in Belsize Park, was arrested on July 29 and charged with following day.
Sofian Alliche, 19, of Bury Place in Camden, and another 17-year-old were also charged with murder.
Prosecutor William Emlyn Jones KC previously told the Old Bailey the deceased was killed in “what looks to be an attempt to rob him by the occupants of a car that followed him home from a nightclub”.
He added: “Mr Antoniadis was a visitor to the UK on holiday. He was a Greek national.”
A trial date has been set for June 2025.
