A man who died after being hit by a car on the North Circular has been named and pictured for the first time.

Dickson Achiu was found injured on the A406 near Meridian Way, Edmonton shortly after 4.30am on October 27.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended, however, the 28-year-old was pronounced dead shortly after.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, or anyone who was travelling on the A406 near Meridian Way at the time of the incident and may have captured events on dash cam to get in contact.
