The Queen's Theatre Hornchurch has revealed the cast for its upcoming Cinderella pantomime.

The classic tale will be staged at the theatre from tomorrow (November 21) to Saturday, January 4, 2025.

The pantomime will follow Cinderella’s journey from a life of drudgery with her vain sisters to an invitation to the Prince’s royal ball.

The Ugly Sisters confiscate her ticket to the ball, but her Fairy Godmother comes to the rescue, ready to transform Cinderella’s fortunes.

Returning to the cast are familiar faces Dom Gee-Burch, Em Prendergast and Luke Thornton.

Gee-Burch, who has had roles in Dick Whittington and Sleeping Beauty at the Queen's Theatre, will play Instagrammia.

Prendergast, who has appeared in The Witchfinder's Sister and A Christmas Carol, takes on the role of Cinderella.

Thornton, who has performed in Love Letters and Goldilocks, will serve as the show’s musical director and play the chorus and understudy.

A host of new cast members will join the production.

Lauren Chinery takes on the role of Buttons.

Chinery performed in Jack and the Beanstalk at Southmill Arts.

Rhianna Goodwin, a graduate of the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, plays the chorus, understudy, and dance captain.

Jared Leathwood, who played in Goldilocks at New Wolsey Theatre, will portray Tiktokia.

Ines Sampaio, nominated for best supporting actress at the UK Panto Awards 2024 for Cinderella by Little Wolf Productions, will play the Fir Tree Godmother.

Elaine Hua Jones, who starred in Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure at Secret Cinema, will play Prince Charming.

The production team behind last year’s hit show Dick Whittington reunites for this year’s Cinderella.

It is written by Andrew Pollard, with original music, lyrics, and musical direction by Tom Self, and directed by Kate Lovell.
