A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Willesden.

The incident happened in Sherrick Green Road near Burney Road at around 10.05am today (November 20).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man who had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.

Another man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 10:05hrs on Wednesday, 20 November to reports of a man stabbed on Sherrick Green Road, NW10.

"Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended.

"The man, who is believed to be aged in his 30s, has been taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.

"A crime scene is in place and officers remain in the area. A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

"Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 reference CAD 2034/20Nov."
