A National Lottery prize of £10,000 a month for 30 years still hasn’t been claimed, and anyone who thinks they are the winner has just two days left to come forward.
The search has been on to find the owner of the winning ticket, who bought the ticket in Sevenoaks on October 24.
The winning Set for Life numbers on October 24 were 2, 11, 29, 37, 45 and the Life Ball was 6.
The National Lottery is looking to raise awareness among players ahead of the important 30-day deadline in respect of lost, destroyed or stolen tickets.
Anyone with a genuine belief that they have won the prize but don’t have the ticket on them has until Saturday (November 23) at 5pm to let the operators of National Lottery know in writing.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, operators of The National Lottery said: “It’s important that any player who is not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who thinks they have a genuine claim to this prize notifies us in writing by 5pm on Saturday, 23 November 2024 at the latest.
“We’re desperate to find this mystery ticketholder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a massive difference to somebody’s life.”
Anybody who actually has the ticket on them has until April 22, 2025, to claim their winning.
Under its licence, Allwyn has the discretion to pay prizes in respect of lost, destroyed or stolen National Lottery tickets only if the player has submitted a claim in writing within 30 days of the relevant draw.
If the player can provide sufficient evidence, Allwyn will investigate and consider the validity of the claim.
Allwyn will then determine at its discretion whether the claim is valid and is able to pay the prize 180 days after the draw.
