Greenwich has plenty to offer for Wicked lovers this weekend – including themed cocktails you can have while you watch the film.
In anticipation of the new Wicked film, Greenwich has been temporarily renamed to ‘GreenWitch’ until November 24, with a plaque unveiling at Greenwich’s foot tunnel on November 12.
Visitors to Greenwich will be able to take a free Wicked trail, where they’ll be able to spot street signs and displays themed around the film, with a free map available from the Tourist Information Centre at the Royal Naval College.
But that’s not the only Wicked themed activity you can expect to find in the borough this weekend.
Visitors can start off by taking a IFS Cable Car from the Royal Docks to The O2 in Greenwich, where you’ll get 360 degree views of London from 52 metres high.
If you’re planning on watching the film this weekend, from November 22 until November 24 you can try out two new themed cocktails inspired by Glinda and Elphaba in their signature colours of pink and green.
You’ll be able to choose between an Elphaba Elixir or Grande Glinda served up at the cloud-shaped Canteen Hall & Bar for £10 for one or £15 for two.
