A McDonald’s restaurant in Croydon has reopened its doors after a "stylish transformation".

The McDonald's on Church Street reopened on Thursday (November 28) following a "convenience of the future" redesign aimed at enhancing the customer experience for everyone.

The convenience of the future renovation program introduces a new restaurant layout paired with the latest technology.

The goal is to create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for customers.

Additionally, improvements have been made for the restaurant crew, including a redesigned crew room that offers a more relaxing and comfortable space for them to take a well-deserved break.

Mr Stephenson, who owns and operates 11 McDonald’s restaurants in south London, said: “I’m proud to reinvest in our Church Street restaurant - especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year.

“It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Church Street restaurant and I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our staff as they will help make their jobs a little easier.”

Customers can still walk into McDonald's to place their orders, but the chain is enhancing its kitchens and dining areas to incorporate digital sales channels, such as the McDonald's App.

These improvements aim to create a better dining experience by using space more efficiently.

The revamp will feature dedicated areas for different ordering methods and remove the front counters, making ordering easier and giving customers more space to enjoy their meals.
