A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with driving offences following an investigation into a fatal crash in Enfield.
It comes after the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) was referred a case relating to the incident which took place on October 12, 2023.
Cristopher De Carvalho Guedes, 26, had been riding his moped in Southbury Road before being involved in a crash with a marked police van.
The 26-year-old died following the incident.

Const Ian Brotherton, 32, who was driving the police vehicle is due at Westminster Magistrates' Court on December 4 facing charges of causing death by dangerous driving, and causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
The watchdog for police conduct concluded their investigation in April, making a case with the Crown Prosecution Service to authorise the charges.
