The best friend of a Herne Hill man murdered as he cashed up the day’s takings at a shop has launched a website in the hope it will help find those responsible for the killing.
Faeem Ahmed launched justice4jamie.moonfruit.com this month in the hope it will encourage witnesses to come forward with information about the murder of shop manager Jamie Simpson, 33.
Mr Simpson was stabbed to death in Kingsland shopping centre, in Dalston, east London on March 22.
Police believe his attackers hid on a fire escape until the store was quiet before surprising Mr Simpson and fatally stabbing him during a struggle before making off in a black Ford Fiesta.
Six people are currently on police bail until December 11.
Anyone with information should contact the incident room on 020 8345 1585, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
