A police raid on a house in Petts Wood has led to a man being fined £500 for possessing CS gas canisters.
Alan Bowell, aged 43, of Frankswood Avenue, Petts Wood, pleaded guilty to possession of a prohibited weapon at Croydon Crown Court.
He was fined £500 with £55 costs on November 11.
When a team of about 12 officers raided Bowell’s house on July 23, they found two CS gas canisters and a small amount of cannabis.
Bowell was charged under Section 5 of the Firearms Act 1968 when he first appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on October 14.
A 33-year-old woman was given a formal warning for possession of cannabis following the police raid.
