A Mitcham woman has been charged with possessing a fighting dog and allowing an animal to cause injury after a dog attack on an 18-month-old baby in Pollards Hill last month.
Three other adults were hospitalised before police marksman could shoot the dog – called Asbo – dead after it had run through the streets of Mitcham for nearly an hour on October 8.
Clare Venour, 29, of Lindsey Close has been bailed to appear before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on December 10.
