Dozens of people living in the borough have been revealed as members of a far right party after a security breach yesterday.
Thousands of members of the British National Party, which believes in repatriating foreign workers, had their membership details posted on an internet blog site yesterday.
There were 25 people with addresses in Ealing borough who are registered members of the party.
Other details recorded on the list included occupations, hobbies and even people who had lost their membership cards.
The leak also revealed one serving police officer, living in another part of the country, is a card carrying member despite regulations preventing officers from joining the party for fear of increasing racial tensions.
Questions have now been raised about the security of supposedly confidential information within the party.
