The lodger convicted of the killing of Baby P attended a Croydon College construction course while on bail earlier this year.
Jason Owen, 36, began a 13-week City and Guilds construction course at Croydon College while on bail in June, learning plumbing, carpentry and tradesmen's skills.
He lived with the mother of Baby P and her boyfriend at a flat in north London where the toddler died after suffering more than 50 injuries, including a broken back.
Croydon College confirmed his attendance saying he had completed his ‘Introduction Certificate in Basic Construction’ and will have received a certificate by post.
According to the Telegraph, Mr Owen is reportedly being held in a special wing for his own protection at Wandsworth prison after being switched from Brixton where an alleged plot was uncovered to attack him with razor blades.
All three are awaiting sentence for causing or allowing his death.
