The death of a missing Polish electrician found hanged in Berkshire is being treated as "unexplained" by police.
Dawid Mizk, 31, vanished from his shared home in Drayton Gardens, West Ealing, on June 8, the day Poland played Germany in Euro 2008.
His body was found hanging from a tree in a secluded spot called Northridge bottom plantation, close to Shooters Hill in Pangbourne.
Police believe his body had been left there for some time. It is not thought he had any connection to the area, but it is believed he travelled there by train.
Dawid was last seen by fellow football fans at The Windmill pub in High Street, Acton, and was photographed for a spread by a photographer from The Sun.
However, when he vanished he took none of his belongings.
Detective Sergeant Paul Davidson of Newbury CID said: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or spoken to this man around June this year.”
Anyone with any information can contact Det Sgt Davidson at Newbury CID on 0845 8 505 505, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
