A man and woman have been found stabbed and dead in Croxteth House in Battersea.
Police have launched a murder investigation after the bodies of the 53-year-old man and 47-year-old woman were found shortly after before 1am on Thursday in the home in Wandsworth Road.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives say they know the identity of the dead pair but are not releasing their names until all next of kin have been informed.
Post mortem investigations are expected to take place and an incident room has been opened by officers from Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve Lawrence, leading the investigation, said: "If you heard or saw anything suspicious in the vicinity last night, please get in touch with us, or call Crimestoppers anonymously."
