A group of outraged mums have banded together through an internet social networking site to pay tribute to Baby P.
A High Wycombe mother has joined the growing Facebook forum 'Campaign to get Justice for Baby P'.
Over the weekend, Lisa Cosburn said she has helped form a plan to release a musical tribute to the child.
She said: “Like so many out I there have been totally shocked by the recent Baby P story but felt useless to actually do anything about it.”
The forum hopes to gather as much support as possible, and some members have suggested releasing a song for Baby P, with proceeds to go to children's charities such as the NSPCC or Pave.
The group chose the Chris Rea song 'Tell Me There's a Heaven' would be a suitable song, and hope to persuade his record label to rerelease it.
Lisa said: “We realised that this would be a monumental task, and didn't really know where to start, so, not even knowing each other, we united and set up our own group on Facebook called 'A Song for Baby P' - the plan is to get as many members to join as possible so that we can prove what demand there is for this to happen, then present it to Chris Rea's label.”
She added the group, which only started up yesterday, already has almost 400 members.
